According to an update at OneLoveForChi.com, Deftones bassist Chi Cheng’s condition has improved enough for him to be moved out of the ICU and removed from all life-support equipment. Cheng has been in an semi-comatose state since a car crash November 4th, 2008.

“hi all – just wanted to update everyone and let you know that chi was released from ICU over the weekend and is no longer on any sort of life support. his symptoms continue to improve. so keep the prayers coming.. they are obviously helping a great deal!
